Add Meta Description to Each Bloggers Post

 Meta Description for Blog

Well first of all

• Go to www.blogger.com
• Open your blog 
• Go to settings tab available on the right side bar of the blogger account window.  
• Now click "Yes" on enable Blog description  .

You will see this window below. Add the description of your blog and explain briefly the sole purpose of your blog in order that people get to know what your blog is all about.

 

Click Save button when you are done posting your bloggers meta tag description.

Meta Description for Individual Posts

Now to add separate Meta Description for each single blog post you need to follow these steps. As you have enabled the search description option in the last step you simply go to blogger's post and you will see the search description tab on the right hand side of blogger editor under Post Settings. 

 Now you add the short summary of the post you want to write and publish on your blog so as its easy for both the search engine and the users to know what your post is .

After you have written the meta search description for your single post  Just Click "Done."

Now Publish the post and see . When your post appears on any major search engine you will notice that the search will be displaying the same description you mentioned in your meta tag description menu,  So its all done. :)

Why your Blog's Meta Search Description not showing ?

I have come across that some of my blogging followers and friends are having problem in doing the little tweak , and they told me that their meta description has failed to appear in the search engines . Actually the thing is that you need to put a small code in your template if it might not already be present in your template. 

Go to blogger dashboard and click on "Design "Tab. Go to Edit html and search for this code below.
